Come on down to Script Jam - the lowest-stakes comedy room in Melbourne - where you can test out your brand-new material in front of the most supportive audience in town.

You’ll see stand-up, sketch, clown, musical comedy, weird powerpoints - whatever! The only rule is that you have to have written it down a bit first. And also that it is new. That’s the other rule.

It doesn’t have to be perfect, and it’d be weird if it was. Read off your phone, throw out half an idea for a joke, get the audience to do your sound effects, wear just the funny wig you found even though you haven’t got the rest of the costume yet. Script Jam is the warm, nourishing cocoon for your next hilarious butterfly and/or moth.
